I read an article this weekend on WQAD (local news station) about an Oregon man who proposed to his girlfriend. It was not a normal proposal…
Robert Fink proposed to his girlfriend of 3 years, Angel White via video game. Fink a video game artist thought it would be cool to use what he created to get his girl to say yes. Of course she is an avid gamer too, so that helped. Fink and some friends took 5 months to plan and create the 10 minute game that would end in a proposal of a life time. The game was set up at Fink’s office as a faux test site where White was a tester. Of course the office staff already knew what was up and family were waiting in the wings.
I read this an thought OMG how romantic! Obviously, not your normal everyday, hey lets get married proposal. It was super sweet and super geek. Mad props to Fink for thinking about proposing in this fashion.
The couple plan to incorporate gaming into their wedding and want to include this 10 minute proposal game as well for guests to try…maybe arcade booth style.
The whole story can be read on WQADs page.
XO and Game on,
